Kylie and Ian have now been in their Tapscott Home for about 3 years.

Kylie and Ian viewed Tapscott Homes’ workmanship on a nearby building site before they approached Brett to take on their project. When Kylie was asked what her favourite room was, she first said the kitchen, but then said that they all love the downstairs family room, because it was their ‘family place’.

“This stunning two storey home is an entertainers delight and a spacious family home. The beautiful Tasmanian Oak floors throughout allow for light to be reflected from the brightly lit rooms. An array of louver windows have been used in the design to allow for cross flow ventilation to the whole house. The internal timber staircase showcases the quality workmanship that is highlighted throughout the home.

Downstairs boasts a large guest room and bathroom, family room, laundry, storage room and garage. The area looks out onto a ground floor entertainment area including pool, capitalises on the views.”

Marilyn and Brian moved into their new Tapscott Home on the 31st of August 2007. They did a lot of research into finding their preferred builder and were convinced after seeing the display home in Yongala Drive.

”We wanted to change our chosen house plan and Tapscott Homes were very happy to comply for no extra cost. They also wanted to customise their kitchen by upgrading to 2 pac doors and draws which has given the kitchen the glamorous look that we wanted to achieve. The finishes were superb and the 2.550m standard ceiling height gave the house a spacious feel.”
