Here at Tapscott Homes, we like to make the process as simple for you as possible. Whilst we are well practised in the building industry, we know it can be a very daunting time for our clients.
That's why we pride ourselves in having an extensive in-house colour selection range as well as a qualified consultant to help you make the best choices for your new home.
Traditionally, once you've committed to a builder they have you running around town to all of their different suppliers, picking and choosing what is to be the style and feel of your new home.
While this is great in terms of seeing the full range you may feel a little overwhelmed. How can you be sure your flooring works in with your feature tiles, and your feature tiles work in with your benchtops? How about your window frames; do they work with your exterior cladding and roof AS WELL as your interior wall colour? What if the supplier show you something you just LOVE but its not allowed for in the standard price range? GREAT... now you're up for extra $$$.
How do Tapscott Homes avoid this?
In our office, we have a full colour selection range. This includes everything from benchtops to tiles, colourbond, bricks, window frames, laminate, vinyl, carpet, robes inserts, paint colours, skirting and achitrave samples... everything we need to confidentely put together your interior and exterior in a way that is unique to you and your home.
How long does it take?
We tend to allow a few hours depending on the size of the home. With tea and coffee to keep us going through the whole process it's quite enjoyable watching your home come together.
What if I'm not 100% happy with your selection?
If you really feel that there are things missing from our range or it just doesn't appeal to you, we are more than happy for you to go to our individual suppliers.
How often do we update our selection?
We update our selection as often as possible to maintain the highest quality products and finishes. Our suppliers ensure to keep us up to date with the latest trends and affordable, stylish selections.
Tips to get the most out of your colour selection
- Do your research; bring photos- pull up your Pintrest & Instagram- show us what you LOVE so we know what direction to point you in during your selection
- Study your plan before your selection day; by the time you get around to doing your colour selection, you are getting to the tail end of your final plans. Study your plan so you know EXACTLY what you want and where you want it.
- Ask questions; the more questions the better! Be curious, ask about that thing you saw on a house up the street that you just LOVED! We can always get it quoted and get back to you.
- Be open; if your style is a little 'out there', that's fine! That's what custom design is all about- YOU. Just be open with us and help us understand what defines you and your taste.
