Brett Tapscott - Owner & Founder
Brett Tapscott is our Owner, Director, CEO, Estimator and Construction Manager. Having to wear this many hats is only possible due to Brett’s extensive knowledge and experience.
Building is in Brett’s blood having followed in his grand father and fathers footsteps, starting out as a carpenter and progressing through to become a registered builder in 1990.
Fueled by his passion for creating happiness for his clients, Brett loves nothing more than handing over the keys to a families new Tapscott Home. Proudly standing by their Total Tapscott Satisfaction Guarantee, Brett is pleased to give his clients the ability to provide massive input and their own personal flair on each home.
When Brett is not turning dreams into reality, he loves to travel with his wife in their caravan – with his goal to explore more of Australia. Brett has found fishing has become quite a passion and that is perfect because he loves indulging in fresh seafood.
Little known facts about Brett include that he won the QLD State Championship for a sport called ‘Reining’ in 2019 and is also an advanced underwater scuba diver, however his busy schedule has meant it has been a long time between dives.
Brett loves building and doesn’t think he will ever get over that feeling of providing long-term happiness through his business, providing aesthetically pleasing and comfortable homes across the build region.
Ryan Holdsworth - Site Supervisor
Ryan is the Site Supervisor at Tapscott Homes and has an extensive career in the industry. Straight out of school, Ryan commenced his apprenticeship and has never looked back, having worked in the field since 2018.
Ryan enjoys watching the entire process, from planning through to final lock up and handing over the keys. Being greeted by smiling faces throughout the process is certainly a highlight and makes all the hard work worthwhile.
With a few favourite builds, Ryan recalls one of his highlights as a home that started off as a plan over a beer, drawn up on a coaster and ended up a dream haven on an elevated block with views overlooking Fraser Island. Another build close to his heart is the largest project he has worked on, with the most unique design and colour selections, making every day of progress exciting. On both occasions, Ryan’s connection with the clients was a standout memory.
Ryan is a passionate Queenslander, an avid fisherman and, loves boating and camping in his spare time. His dream to experience is doing all his favourite things at North West Island south of the Great Barrier Reed.
Ryan understands that each home is likely his clients biggest decision of their life, this is why he strives to have a positive impact on every client, becoming mates with many he has built for over the years.
Nadine Rowley - Administration Manager
As Administration Manager, Nadine liaises with clients about quotations, contracts, colour selections and much more that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Nadine has an extensive background in the construction industry and for 8 years, she has been the glue that holds the operation together, drawing from previous experience to provide the level of support and superior customer service Tapscott Homes have become known for.
Embracing the freedom that larger builders cannot offer is a perk for Nadine as it makes ticking off a clients wish list that much easier. Being part of a custom building business is exciting and satisfying for Nadine as she can see each clients personal taste and style reflected in their home, with unique features at every turn.
Nadine is a music enthusiast and loves attending music festivals, which will see her volunteering at the Muster again this year. She recently purchased an old van with the vision to convert it into a camper and explore Queensland. A not so well-known fact about Nadine is that she is also a dog training instructor, having trained her own dogs to a competitive level at national competitions in NZ, and now is a training instructor at her local club.
Passionate about the building process, Nadine loves handover days and strives to make the building process easy and stress-free for clients, ensuring they can look back on the journey with positive memories.
